The Postcard Project claims that the stories about Bangalore from the past 120 years are part of history, mythology, and urban fiction. We have followed a historical timeline of Bengaluru/Bangalore and its narrative, beginning from two pandemics- the Great plague in 1898 to Covid 19 in 2020. This project is re-imagining the timeline of the city’s social, cultural, and political history, its personalities, landmark events and is commemorating them by creating creative visual images in the format of the postcards. The postcard project is one of the many projects under Bangalore Connect.
