Through an open call, fifteen artists were selected and matched up with the following comic artist mentors: Anil Kumar HA, Amitabh Kumar, Anpu Varkey, Bharath Murthy, Pagal Canvas, and Suresh Jayaram. Organized virtually, each selected artist is involved with the aforementioned experts through one-on-one and group sessions to weave stories about Bangalore and its formation. They are advised to harvest folk tales, histories, oral traditions, and imaginative contemporary science fiction to eventually encourage them to develop their own individual comic books. The young artists will be encouraged to find their own voice and language in their work under this online mentoring program.
